ARMIK BAGHDASARIAN ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION 2024

Homenetmen Glendale Ararat is pleased to announce “Armik Baghdasarian Annual Scholarship for Excellence in Education” award event. One scholarship of $1000 will be awarded to a four-year undergraduate program student, enrolled in any university within the USA for the academic year of 2024-25.  While this Scholarship is open to all eligible members of Homenetmen Western USA Region, it aims to benefit those students who have some involvement with the Armenian community and the local society. Therefore, in conjunction with Homenetmen’s mission of cultivating healthy minds in healthy bodies, the recipient of the “Armik Baghdasarian Scholarship” must be a student who can demonstrate leadership qualities and an understanding of the needs of the Armenian people and their role in the Armenian community.

To be eligible, you must:

  1. Currently be an undergraduate student at a university within the USA during 2024
  2. Be enrolled at a university within the USA for academic year 2024/2025
  3. Have a minimum GPA of 3.2
  4. Be a current member of Homenetmen Western USA Region in good standing

All applications must be submitted online to scholarship@ararat.org or mailed to the center office no later than Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The mailing address is 3347 N. San Fernando Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065 (must be postmarked by July 31, 2024).  Incomplete applications and those not accompanied by official transcripts and proof of enrollment will not be considered for selection.
