October 17th and 18th, Homenetmen Glendale Ararat Chapter hosted the 10th Annual Glendale Friendship Games. Several basketball teams including City Employees, Glendale Police Department, Rotary Club of Glendale, Glendale Fire Department, Glendale Adventist Medical Center physicians and Ararat Chapter participated in two days of friendly competitive basketball.
This year a soccer game between Ararat Soccer and the Glendale Police team occurred on October 21.
The Glendale Friendship Games celebrate our Jewel City’s sense of community and fosters goodwill and sportsmanship among various local organizations. The games also offer the opportunity to our younger as well as our young at heart generations to appreciate our unity, create new relationships and celebrate our diversity in Glendale.
